Cyrus’s shadow
Cyrus’s shadow
Once I got far enough away from the village I released my pokemon from their balls and a few of them made dramatic stretching movements like they were cramped in their balls which was amusing to see even if untrue. Gaia wasted no time at all complaining that I got to eat so much good food while they were stuck in their balls and even mated with a female worthy of me for once. "Of course you would point out her status as a show of worth. Strength isn't everything you know." I said with a roll of my eyes and my whole team just gave me a look.
"For pokemon it kinda is a big deal, but for humans it's really not so don't give me those looks. Honestly for us it's more a matter of appearance and personality than anything else. Don't get me wrong strength is certainly a factor but most can take it or leave it if other features are good enough." I schooled my team on the affairs of human courtship sagely. "Ty Ty Rani Ran Tar!" Gaia grumbled which roughly translated to "your mates make no sense". -
I shrugged "Maybe not to a pokemon like you but it makes perfect sense for a human like me, well high human but you get the damn idea." I said with a chuckle. Hades hissed as if to say "I get it!" and I patted my pocket fondly. "Now then we need to get going." I said and we started walking faster. I actually felt a little bad for the wild pokemon in the area as my team and I must have left them terrified being so much stronger than even the strongest pokemon in the area, or at least I thought so until my system decided to break that idea after about seven hours of travel.-

"We have incoming get ready!" I commanded and my pokemon immediately tensed up. I activated my x-ray vision and strained my hearing to try and find out where this thing was coming from before it arrived.-
The forest got eerily silent and I caught a glimpse of the reason why with my x-ray vision and my eyes widened. "Legendary incoming!" I barely had time to yell before a small red glowing "thing" smashed through the trees heading right at us. Vulcan roared and used headbutt which stopped its movement and a grimaced at what I saw but more importantly felt from the thing, it was peak elite level at one forty five. I appraised the thing and all but confirmed it's origins and sighed.

Description: A genetically modified clone of the legendary species Celebi. Its modifications caused it to be more aggressive than any normal member of it's species while giving it enhanced physical stats and access to fire type moves. Was created in the hope of gaining insight into controlling time but escaped due to slipping through a temporal crack. ]
'This has Cyrus's name written all over it. Looks like he's started to move his plans towards Dialga and Palkia if this thing is any indication.' I thought seriously.
I had to plan around how to deal with this thing in a hurry too as it was pretty much a triple typing threat and that gave me a headache. Normal Celebi were grass and psychic type but this one basically also had fire on top of that so many of the counters I had for those types would be less effective than I'd like. "It's got grass, psychic and fire typings, fight accordingly!" I commanded and my pokemon got to work.
Gaia kicked up a sand storm while Vulcan used it's normal type moves for damage. Yani stayed at the side ready to send healing where it was needed and Rune sparked up with yellow energy as he readied his electrical moves. Tank flew around the lone legendary to harass it with hit and run attacks while Cratos and Hades stuck close to me to protect me in case the thing goes crazy and aims attacks at me. The appearance of this Celebi was rather intense as it had red skin and it's normally onion looking head was curled at the top like flames while it's eyes were not soft blue but malevolent yellow with black sclera.-
It's still short body didn't look soft but hard like bark and it's limbs had sharp claws on the ends. All in all it looked evil as fuck. It was vicious too as it wasted no time at all throwing out back to back Confusions and Toxics at all my attacking pokemon right out the gate. My pokemon weren't slouches though and took it all with gritted teeth before returning fire just as viciously. The ground was upheaved and trees were blasted apart as the battle raged and I had to grimace as this damn thing had all the power of a normal Celebi AND was pretty fucking tough to put down too.-
It certainly didn't make things any better when it screamed and started throwing out fire attacks with no regard for whether the forest burnt down or not anymore. Finally after nearly thirty minutes of hard fighting my team knocked the fucker out and I stuffed it in a ultraball faster than you could blink. I wasted no time at all putting that ball in stasis mode to keep it unconscious as long as possible. "Everyone poisoned get over here for an antidote, Yani and I will deal with the other injuries after that." I said seriously and Vulcan and Rune stumbled over with white foam around their mouths and purple coloration on their skin.-
I carefully injected my personally made antidotes into them before helping them circulate their aura to accelerate it's effects. Other than that they had cracked ribs and heavily bruised skin in the case of Vulcan and Rune. Tank sported burns that were quite nasty as well even though he used hit and run tactics. Gaia wasn't untouched either as some of her carapace had cracks on it but compared to the rest she was in much better condition due to her species innate defense.
What do you think?
